A new version of Corendal Directory has been posted. This version includes the following main new features:

    - accounts and contacts can be removed,
    - the account file import wizard remembers past settings,
    - when multiple variants are used, a drop down is displayed listing those variants,
    - the "Communicator" tab now includes the policy applied to an account,
    - the list of employee types can be customized in the employeetypes.xml file

A bug with password changes has also been fixed as part of this release. If you were using a past version of Corendal Directory, you can upgrade without recreating or changing the underlying MySQL database.

Reopening of www.corendal.com

The previous hosting company (I shall not name) decided to host only PHP sites, and tossed my Corendal Wiki demo site away.

After a year of proscratination, I have decided to reopen the site, with the help of Google Sites, this time with only content. No demo is included. I got many requests for user documentation, there is a need for a central documentation point.

The demo site was great. It was fun to see Corendal Wiki being used outside of its natural corporate environment by so many people. The rich text editor seemed to be the main attraction, people had fun with it.

That was last year's news. Since last year, Corendal Directory has had a major release, and is growing fast comparatively to the two previous Corendal products. It's a mature product, I am proud of it. It seems to fill a niche that is not addressed well by the market.
